Office Managers, Janice Rosentreter and Jacquie Hunsley

Janice and Jacquie are Grace’s “front line.”  They began job-sharing this position in the fall of 2008. Together, they manage our offices and also handle secretarial and receptionist duties.  Both are married and each is the mother of two adult children.

Pastor Mark Ruf

Pastor Mark has been at Grace since 1995.  He hails from the lower mainland of BC where he also completed a Bachelor of Science at UBC.  His seminary training was undertaken at Concordia Lutheran Seminary (Edmonton), where he earned his MDiv in 1989.  Prior to coming to Calgary, Pastor Mark served Saviour Lutheran Church in South Delta, BC.  Pastor Mark is married to Michelle and they have one child, Amanda.  Pastor Mark serves Lutheran Church – Canada as First Vice-President of the Alberta – British Columbia District, a member of the District Board of Directors, and the President of the EnCharis organization - a provider of care centers for various needs.

Congregational Program Director

This position is currently vacant as we prayerfully seek God's guidance in finding the right person to fulfill these duties.  The position involves the areas of youth, young adults, families, education, and music.

Outreach to Sudanese

Grace is the home of an outreach to Calgary's Sudanese community, led by Joseph Nhial (403.671.6613).
